Character History and Personality:
Faust’s tale is a sad one, as most fairy tales are for the one foolish enough to conjure demons. While his story has been retold since the first inklings of alchemy and science, he comes from a time in the 1800’s where God was substantially less important than locomotives or inventions. Bored, lonely and striving for more knowledge, he found a book that taught him how to speak to the Devil himself and strike a deal that would put a demon under his control. For twenty-four years he would have whatever he wanted and then his soul was the property of Hell. He had no want beyond knowledge and pleasure at first, but after meeting a young, pure woman named Gretchen, that all went downhill.

After wooing her with his arsenal of trickery and demonic powers, he found that he had also began to unravel her very tightly wound and precious life. Soon, she became ill and when the very angels in heaven arrived to take her soul, Faust begged for mercy. He begged with everything he had left. And, just as the angels seemed to take pity on him, Faust woke up on the edge of Beast's castle. In his head was a small, frightful man named Peter Grey and in his pocket was a journal containing the new world of Passages. Faust made friends with Rose and Quasimodo, while staying in touch with old friends such as Hook. He found himself playing the role of wise, kindly wizard who could do magical parlor tricks and looked after his rag-tag group of friends.

But when the switch between worlds happened, Peter was already on a plane out of Vegas and Faust found himself lost until appearing in Winnie's head. The two shared memories the same way he and Peter did and don't often understand each other.

Winnie then lost Faust's voice and he no longer had contact with the door he had learnt to call home. During this time, he was called by the demons who he owed his powers to and was put in charge of hunting down whoever had crossed the demonic forces in his world. Now that he is in Adam's head, he is destined to do the same thing through the Fairytale door. If the demons want someone, Faust is expected to fetch them.

Faust and Adam have a strange connection. Adam, who spends most of his time in his own head, can become susceptible to the demons floating around in Faust's mind. They push him to be more irritable, angry and mean. Faust himself, however, is a much kinder voice that encourages Adam to do good things even though Faust doesn't know much about that himself.

Journal/Key: The key is made of brass that’s covered in black like it had been thrown in a fireplace. The journal is a woefully old fashioned leather bound.

External Door items: n/a

Storylines;

The Gretchen: Someone who believes Faust is capable of more good than he actually is. She pushes him to ignore the demons who control him even if it could lead to his DOOOOM. It could be the Gretchen from his tale or someone pure of heart~ like her.

The Believers: People who believe in Faust despite his shortcomings.

Friends on the other side: Friends from other doors
